Book Biffy Clyro
Biffy Clyro have grown from a small-town Scottish trio into festival headliners, topping the bill at Reading and Leeds and drawing huge crowds across Europe. Founded in Kilmarnock in 1995, the group features singer and guitarist Simon Neil with twin brothers James Johnston on bass and Ben Johnston on drums, joined on tour by guitarist Mike Vennart and multi-instrumentalist Richard "Gambler" Ingram, both formerly of Oceansize. Their first three albums, Blackened Sky, The Vertigo of Bliss and Infinity Land, built a loyal following with intricate, hard-hitting alternative rock. Puzzle (2007) broadened their reach, and Only Revolutions (2009), with "Mountains," "That Golden Rule" and "Many of Horror," earned a Mercury Prize nomination; "Many of Horror" became even more widely known when Matt Cardle recorded it after winning The X Factor. The double album Opposites (2013) followed, along with Ellipsis (2016), A Celebration of Endings (2020) and the companion record The Myth of the Happily Ever After (2021). Signed to 14th Floor Records, the band released its tenth studio album, Futique, in 2025. Their shows are famous for shirtless intensity and massive singalong choruses.
