Book The Vaccines
The Vaccines are an indie rock band from England, started in West London by singer Justin Young and guitarist Freddie Cowan with bassist Árni Árnason and drummer Pete Robertson. Their first demo, "If You Wanna," went up on YouTube in August 2010 and drew immediate praise from Zane Lowe, and that autumn they issued the double A-side "Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)" and "Blow It Up" before a Later with Jools Holland appearance, a first for a band without a single out. A deal with Columbia Records led to the debut What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? (2011), and the band took part in the 2011 NME Awards Tour. Come of Age (2012), English Graffiti (2015), Combat Sports (2018), Back in Love City (2021) and Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations (2024) completed six studio albums, with sales of two million records worldwide. Their taut, hook-driven guitar sound has drawn comparisons to the Ramones and the Strokes. They have toured alongside the Rolling Stones, Arcade Fire and Arctic Monkeys, as well as Kings of Leon, Muse, Imagine Dragons and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
