Book Jethro Tull
Jethro Tull is a rock band formed in Blackpool in 1967 and fronted by Ian Anderson, whose flute playing set the group apart and helped shape progressive rock. They began as a blues outfit before developing a rich sound blending rock, folk and classical influences, with albums such as This Was, Stand Up, Benefit, Aqualung, Thick as a Brick, A Passion Play, Songs From the Wood, Heavy Horses and Stormwatch. Signature songs include "Locomotive Breath," "Living in the Past" and "Bungle in the Jungle." The band received the first Grammy awarded in the hard rock and metal performance category for Crest of a Knave, an album that surprised many. Its catalog includes twenty-four albums, up to The Zealot Gene in 2022 and RökFlöte in 2023. Shows feature Anderson's theatrical flute playing, intricate arrangements and a dedicated international audience.
