Book Steve Miller Band
The Steve Miller Band is a San Francisco rock group founded in 1966 and led by guitarist and singer Steve Miller, whose catalog helped define classic rock radio. They began as a blues-tinged psychedelic act on Capitol Records, with early albums such as Children of the Future and Sailor, then reached wide audiences with The Joker in 1973 and Fly Like an Eagle in 1976. Their staples include "The Joker," "Fly Like an Eagle," "Rock'n Me," "Take the Money and Run," "Jet Airliner," "Swingtown" and "Abracadabra," and the band released seventeen albums in all, through Bingo! and Let Your Hair Down in 2011. Boz Scaggs played in the early lineup. Miller was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In concert, the band delivers tight guitar work, classic hits and an easygoing West Coast groove for festivals, amphitheaters and private events.
