Book The Who
The Who is a rock band that formed in London in 1964 around singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist and songwriter Pete Townshend, along with bassist John Entwistle and drummer Keith Moon. Their early records, including My Generation and A Quick One, made them leading voices of mod culture, and later rock operas such as Tommy in 1969 and Quadrophenia in 1973 reshaped the album form. Who's Next in 1971 featured "Baba O'Riley" and "Won't Get Fooled Again." Further albums include The Who Sell Out, Who Are You, Endless Wire in 2006 and WHO in 2019. They entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001. Known for explosive stage shows with smashed guitars, windmill chords and thunderous drumming, Daltrey and Townshend still tour with a full band and orchestra for arenas and festivals.
