Book Vince Neil
Vince Neil, born Vincent Neil Wharton in 1961, is a singer and musician and the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. He fronted the group from its formation in 1981 until 1992, returned in 1996, stayed through the band's 2015 retirement and rejoined for its reunion in 2018. Outside the band he has recorded three solo albums: Exposed in 1993, Carved in Stone in 1995 and Tattoos & Tequila in 2010. He has three Grammy nominations. The Crüe's story, told in the 2001 book The Dirt, is a legend of Sunset Strip excess, and Neil's piercing, rock-and-roll wail is among the genre's most recognizable sounds. On his own tours he plays Mötley Crüe hits and solo material, with a loud, fast, party-focused show full of attitude for crowds who love 1980s hard rock.
