Book Bad Company

Bad Company were the English rock supergroup launched in London in 1973, uniting Free alumni Paul Rodgers on vocals and Simon Kirke on drums with guitarist Mick Ralphs, previously of Mott the Hoople, and bassist Boz Burrell, a King Crimson veteran. Managed by Led Zeppelin's Peter Grant, they defined 1970s hard rock. Their first three albums, Bad Company (1974), Straight Shooter (1975) and Run With the Pack (1976), all reached the top five in the US, and later records included Burnin’ Sky (1977), Desolation Angels (1979) and Rough Diamonds (1982). Songs such as "Can't Get Enough", "Feel Like Makin' Love", "Shooting Star" and "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy" remain classic rock radio staples. After first splitting in 1982, the band regrouped many times, issuing Fame and Fortune (1986), Dangerous Age (1988), Holy Water (1990), Here Comes Trouble (1992), Company of Strangers (1995) and Stories Told & Untold (1996). They earned a Best New Artist Grammy nomination and entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2025. In 2023 Kirke announced the band would not carry on, closing a legendary chapter of bluesy, riff-driven rock.
