Book Steve Augeri
Steve Augeri is an American rock vocalist best known as the lead singer of Journey from 1998 to 2006, a gig that put him in front of arena crowds singing some of rock's most beloved anthems. Born in 1959 and rooted in the New York rock scene, he co-founded the band Tall Stories in 1988; the group earned New York Music Awards nominations for best debut album, with Augeri nominated as best debut male vocalist. He later sang on Tyketto's 1995 album Shine and the 1996 live set Take Out & Served Up Live. Journey's Jonathan Cain and Neal Schon invited him to audition, and he stepped into the frontman role, debuting on record with "Remember Me" from the Armageddon soundtrack. With Journey he recorded Arrival (2001), the EP Red 13 (2002) and Generations (2005), and he appeared on the concert video Journey 2001, filmed in Las Vegas. Since then he has led the Steve Augeri Band, sings with the supergroup Bad Penny and released the solo album Seven Ways ’til Sunday in 2022. Augeri brings soaring, classic arena-rock vocals and a catalog of Journey favorites to every show.
