Book Great White
Great White is a hard rock band that formed in Los Angeles in 1977 and took its name from the shark and from guitarist Mark Kendall's old nickname. The group became a fixture of the 1980s Sunset Strip scene and broke through with the albums Once Bitten and Twice Shy, whose bluesy hard rock produced "Rock Me," "Save Your Love," "House of Broken Love," "Lady Red Light" and a cover of "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" that became their signature song. Later records include Hooked, Psycho City, Sail Away, Let It Rock, Back to the Rhythm, Rising, Elation and Full Circle, sixteen albums in all. Grammy.com lists one nomination. Kendall still leads the band on guitar, and singer Brett Carlisle joined in 2022.
