Book Brett Scallions
Brett Scallions is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist best known as the founding lead vocalist of the alternative rock band Fuel. Discovered by bassist Jeff Abercrombie at a bar gig in Jackson, Tennessee, he joined the band in 1993 and fronted it through its biggest era, singing the hits "Shimmer," "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" and "Bad Day." With Fuel he recorded the albums Sunburn (1998), Something Like Human (2000) and Natural Selection (2003). After leaving in 2006 he stayed busy, forming The X's, playing bass in Circus Diablo and, in 2007, stepping in as lead singer of Riders on the Storm, the project led by former Doors members Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek. He co-founded World Fire Brigade with Sean Danielsen of Smile Empty Soul and Eddie Wohl, releasing Spreading My Wings in 2012, and toured as Re-Fueled with former Fuel bandmate Abercrombie before rejoining Fuel from 2010 to 2020. Scallions brings a powerful post-grunge voice and a catalog of radio anthems that rock fans of the late '90s and early 2000s know word for word.
