Book Porcupine Tree
Porcupine Tree is a progressive rock band founded by Steven Wilson in Hemel Hempstead, England, in 1987, beginning as a studio project and growing into a full touring unit with keyboardist Richard Barbieri, drummer Gavin Harrison and bassist Colin Edwin. Their sound moves from psychedelic and space rock through melodic art rock to modern prog and metal-edged dynamics. Albums include Up the Downstair, The Sky Moves Sideways, Signify, Stupid Dream, Lightbulb Sun, In Absentia, Deadwing, Fear of a Blank Planet, The Incident and Closure / Continuation in 2022, twelve in total. Grammy.com lists one nomination. After a long break following The Incident, Wilson, Barbieri and Harrison reunited for new music and a return to the stage. The live production pairs immersive surround sound with film and visuals, and the group has a devoted international following.
