Book Elephant Revival

Elephant Revival is a folk band from Nederland, Colorado, formed in 2006 and known for a sound the members call transcendental folk. Their music weaves Scottish and Celtic fiddle tunes, traditional ballads, bluegrass and indie rock into original songs, and every member is a multi-instrumentalist who sings and writes. Today the band is Darren Garvey, Dango Rose, Bridget Law and Bonnie Paine, with roots split between Colorado and Paine's hometown of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The five original players first shared a stage at the Gold Hill Inn in October 2006 under the name Elephant Revival Concept before shortening it. Their self-titled debut arrived in 2008, produced by David Tiller of Taarka, and in 2010 they signed with Ruff Shod Records, the indie label started by Dispatch and State Radio's Chad Stokes. Albums since include Break in the Clouds (2010), It's Alive (2012), These Changing Skies (2013) and Petals (2016). Members have shared bills with Dispatch, Bela Fleck, John Paul Jones, Nickel Creek, Michael Franti and String Cheese Incident. Expect lush harmonies and hypnotic, rootsy grooves.
