Book Diplo
Diplo, born Thomas Wesley Pentz Jr., is an American DJ and record producer and a heavyweight name in global dance music. His 2008 single "Blow Your Head" put him on the map, and in 2006 he started the label Mad Decent, followed in 2007 by the nonprofit Heaps Decent. Diplo co-created the dancehall-driven project Major Lazer with Switch in 2011, teamed with Skrillex as Jack Ü, joined Labrinth and Sia in LSD and partnered with Mark Ronson in Silk City. He has won three Grammy Awards from thirteen nominations: Best Dance Recording for "Where Are Ü Now" and Best Dance/Electronic Album for Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, then Best Dance Recording again for "Electricity". As a producer he shaped M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" and contributed to Beyoncé's Lemonade (2016) and Madonna's Rebel Heart (2015) and Madame X (2019). His own releases run from Florida (2004) through Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: Chapter 1 - Snake Oil (2020), MMXX (2020), Do You Dance? (2021), Diplo (2022) and d00mscrvll, Vol. 1 (2025).
