Book Christy Turlington
Christy Turlington Burns is an American model who became famous during the supermodel era of the late '80s and early '90s, standing alongside Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista as one of the original supermodels. She fronted Calvin Klein's Eternity campaign in 1989 and returned to it in 2014, served as the face of Calvin Klein from 1989 to 2007, and became the face of Maybelline in 1992. Her campaign résumé includes Chanel, Prada, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors, among many others. In 1993 the Metropolitan Museum of Art named her the "Face of the 20th Century" and modeled a line of mannequins on her likeness. Grace Coddington of Vogue once called her the most beautiful woman in the world. On screen, she appeared in Duran Duran's "Notorious" video and on its album cover, the Isaac Mizrahi documentary Unzipped, Robert Altman's Prêt-à-Porter, and Catwalk, a documentary following her on the runways. Turlington brings a rare perspective on fashion, image and global brand building to audiences everywhere.
