Book A Perfect Circle
A Perfect Circle is a Los Angeles rock supergroup formed in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and vocalist Maynard James Keenan of Tool. The band's moody, melodic sound earned a strong following with the debut Mer de noms in 2000, which included "Judith," "3 Libras" and "The Hollow." Thirteenth Step in 2003 followed with "The Outsider" and "Weak and Powerless," and eMOTIVe in 2004 collected reimagined covers, including a version of "Imagine." After a long break, the group returned with Eat the Elephant in 2018, its fourth album, and later toured again. Current performers include James Iha, Matt McJunkins and Jeff Friedl with Howerdel and Keenan. Their concerts are atmospheric and visually minimalist, with a cinematic production that draws attention to the songs, lighting and Keenan's commanding voice. The band appeals to rock and alternative audiences around the world.
