Book Snow Patrol
Snow Patrol is a Northern Irish alternative rock band that formed in Dundee, Scotland, in 1994 and is fronted by singer and guitarist Gary Lightbody, alongside guitarist Nathan Connolly and multi-instrumentalist Johnny McDaid. After Songs for Polarbears and When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up, the band broke through with Final Straw and its singles "Run" and "Chocolate." Eyes Open then made them stadium favorites, thanks to "Chasing Cars," a song that became an anthem after appearing in television drama, and "You're All I Have." They continued with A Hundred Million Suns, Fallen Empires, Wildness and The Forest Is the Path in 2024, eight albums in all. The group toured widely with the Take Back the Cities Tour in 2008. Snow Patrol's soaring choruses, emotional lyrics and communal singalongs make them a popular festival and arena act.
