Cage the Elephant is a rock band that began in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in 2006 and is fronted by singer Matt Shultz alongside his brother Brad Shultz on guitar. After relocating to London in 2008, the group released its self-titled debut that year, which included "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked." Later albums include Thank You, Happy Birthday in 2011, Melophobia in 2013, Tell Me I'm Pretty in 2015, Social Cues in 2019 and Neon Pill in 2024. Tell Me I'm Pretty, produced by Dan Auerbach, won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. Songs such as "Shake Me Down," "Cigarette Daydreams" and "Come a Little Closer" show a sound that moves between garage energy, psychedelic textures and melodic ballads. Shultz's wild, acrobatic stage presence makes the group a headline attraction at festivals and arenas.
