Book Skid Row
Skid Row is a hard rock and heavy metal band that started in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey. The current lineup is Rachel Bolan on bass, Rob Hammersmith on drums, and Dave Sabo and Scotti Hill on guitar. The group exploded with two major-selling albums, the self-titled Skid Row in 1989 and Slave to the Grind in 1991, the latter hitting number one on the Billboard 200. Those records brought rock radio staples such as "Youth Gone Wild," "18 and Life" and "I Remember You." Later studio albums include Subhuman Race in 1995, Thickskin in 2003, Revolutions per Minute in 2006 and The Gang's All Here in 2022, six in total. Skid Row play loud, fast, riff-heavy shows with the swagger of the late-1980s Sunset Strip scene, and their anthems are made for crowds that grew up on hard rock.
