Book Slaughter
Slaughter began in Las Vegas in 1988 around singer and guitarist Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum, who had both played in the Vinnie Vincent Invasion, and was filled out by guitarist Tim Kelly and drummer Blas Elias. Its 1990 debut Stick It to Ya was a major seller driven by the songs "Up All Night," "Spend My Life" and the ballad "Fly to the Angels." The Wild Life followed in 1992 with "Real Love," and the group later released Fear No Evil in 1995, Revolution in 1997 and Back to Reality in 1999. Its polished melodic hard rock, anchored by Slaughter's soaring high vocals, keeps it on the road at rock festivals, cruises, casinos and fairs, where fans still turn out for its early nineties anthems alongside many other bands from the era.
