Book Loverboy
Loverboy is a rock band from Calgary, Alberta, formed in 1979. Its hit singles, especially "Turn Me Loose" and "Working for the Weekend," are arena rock staples that are still heard on classic rock radio in both Canada and America. The band's albums include the self-titled Loverboy, Get Lucky, Keep It Up and Lovin' Every Minute of It, all from the early to mid 1980s. Loverboy won Juno Awards for group of the year in 1982, 1983 and 1984, for album of the year in 1982 and 1983 and for single of the year in 1982. In 2009 the group was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Mike Reno's powerful vocals and Paul Dean's guitar riffs, along with the band's famous red leather pants, are part of their legend. Their concerts are party-like and full of sing-along energy.
