Book Ryan Adams

Ryan Adams is a singer-songwriter from the United States, born in 1974, working across rock and country and known for an enormous, restless catalog that now counts 30 solo studio albums plus three with the alt-country band Whiskeytown. Leaving Whiskeytown in 2000, he released the solo debut Heartbreaker to critical acclaim and a Shortlist Music Prize nomination, then raised his profile with Gold (2001) and its single "New York, New York". Working at a furious pace, he followed with Demolition (2002), the classic-rock-flavored Rock N Roll (2003) and the moodier Love Is Hell, then recorded several albums with his backing band the Cardinals. Later highlights include Ashes & Fire (2011), the self-titled Ryan Adams (2014), Prisoner (2017) and 1989 (2015), a track-by-track cover of the Taylor Swift record. He has received seven Grammy nominations. Beyond his own records, Adams has produced records for artists such as Willie Nelson, Jenny Lewis, Jesse Malin and Fall Out Boy, has worked with artists including Counting Crows, Weezer and Norah Jones, founded the PAX AM label, and has published the poetry book Infinity Blues and Hello Sunshine, a collection of poems and stories.
