Book Joris Voorn
Joris Voorn is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer celebrated for melodic, emotive techno and house and for long, meticulously built sets. His career started with a DJ contest in Enschede, and his 2002 EP "Muted Trax," backed by Carl Craig, Derrick May and Laurent Garnier, convinced him to commit to DJing full time. The underground hit "Lost Memories" followed in 2003, the year the Dutch DJ Awards honored him as Talent of the Year. He co-runs the labels Rejected and Green with longtime collaborator Edwin Oosterwal. His albums include Future History (2004), From a Deep Place (2007), Nobody Knows (2014), which brought in live guitar and bass plus guests such as Matthew Dear and Kid A, Four (2019), Serotonin (2025) and Melatonin (2026). His mix compilation Balance014 wove 100 tracks into one continuous journey, and he later delivered GU43 for Global Underground. Orbital reworked his track "Never" in 2020, and Tomorrowland featured him in its New Year's Eve stream. Voorn brings a refined, storytelling approach to every dance floor.
