Book DJ Koze

DJ Koze is the alias of Stefan Kozalla, a German DJ and producer from Flensburg whose playful, emotional take on house and techno has made him a cult favorite worldwide. He began in hip-hop, placing second at the German DMC Championship in 1991 and co-founding the Hamburg crew Fischmob, before turning to electronic music and remixing. He has run Pampa Records since 2009, where he released Amygdala (2013), which won the Critics Award at the 2014 Echo Awards, and Knock Knock (2018), whose single "Pick Up" topped Mixmag's tracks of the year list. Knock Knock also brought him the Preis für Popkultur for favorite producer in 2018. His DJ Kicks mix (2015) drew wide acclaim, and his remixes for Låpsley and Gorillaz are club staples. He produced Róisín Murphy's album Hit Parade (2023) and released Music Can Hear Us, featuring "Pure Love" with Damon Albarn. Readers of German music magazines have repeatedly voted him DJ of the Year, and he has played Coachella, Sónar, Tomorrowland, Roskilde and the Sydney Opera House, where he debuted his Popup Jungle A/V show in 2019. His sets are warm, surprising and full of left turns.
