Book Robin S.
Robin S. is an American singer and house music powerhouse best known for "Show Me Love," a dance-floor classic that crossed over to pop radio. Born Robin Stone, she first released the song in 1990 with producer Fred McFarlane, and in 1993 a remix by Swedish DJ and producer StoneBridge turned it into a hit on Big Beat Records. That version topped the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and climbed into the R&B top ten, and her debut album, Show Me Love (1993), followed it up the charts. The success earned her a performance slot on the 1994 American Music Awards. Follow-up singles "Luv 4 Luv" and "What I Do Best" kept her momentum going, and she has scored three number-one hits on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. Her second album, From Now On (1997), made for Atlantic Records with Todd Terry and Eric "E-Smoove" Miller producing, widened her range into gospel and R&B ballads, and its single "It Must Be Love" spent two weeks at number one on the club chart. Robin S. brings a soaring, gospel-rooted voice to high-energy dance sets.
