Book Kerri Chandler
Kerri Chandler is an American DJ and record producer and a pioneer of deep house, celebrated for a soulful, eclectic sound rooted in New Jersey club culture. He grew up in a family of jazz musicians, and his father, a DJ, introduced him to soul, disco and the New York underground. He was DJing at an East Orange club by 13 and interning in studios by 14, and in the 1980s he held a residency at Newark's Club Zanzibar, the home of the Jersey garage sound. His first single, "SuperLover/Get It Off," came out on Atlantic Records in 1991, and he has since released over 100 records. His albums include Hemisphere (1996), Kaoz on King Street (1997), First Steps with Dennis Ferrer, Kerri's Jazz Cafe (2000), Trionisphere (2003), Computer Games (2008) and Spaces and Places (2022). He founded the labels Madhouse Records, MadTech Records and, in 2016, Kaoz Theory, releasing music by Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Satoshi Tomiie and the Martinez Brothers. Chandler brings deep, warm, musical sets that mix live keys with decades of house history.
