Book Yves Tumor
Yves Tumor is the recording name of Sean Bowie, an American musician and producer whose adventurous, genre-defying experimental music keeps listeners guessing. Born in Miami and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Tumor began making music at 16 and is self-taught on drums, bass, guitar and keyboards. After moving to San Diego and later Los Angeles, they toured Europe and Asia for two and a half years alongside Mykki Blanco, and in the early 2010s recorded under the name T.E.A.M.S. The Yves Tumor project debuted in 2015 with the album When Man Fails You. In 2016 they signed with PAN Records and released Serpent Music, crafted across three years in Leipzig, Germany, and recorded across Miami, Leipzig, Los Angeles and Berlin. The albums Safe in the Hands of Love (2018), Heaven to a Tortured Mind (2020) and Praise a Lord Who Chews but Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds) (2023) established them as a singular voice in experimental music. Live, Yves Tumor brings a bold, unpredictable performance shaped by years of touring.
