Book Courtney Love

Courtney Love is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and actress whose career stretches across four decades and sits at the center of 1990s alternative rock. In 1989 she launched Hole in Los Angeles alongside guitarist Eric Erlandson, singing lead and playing rhythm guitar. The band's 1991 debut, Pretty on the Inside, was produced by Kim Gordon and won strong notices from the underground rock press, and its follow-up, Live Through This (1994), became a landmark of the decade. Hole's third record, Celebrity Skin (1998), picked up three Grammy nominations, part of the four Grammy nods on Love's résumé. On screen, she appeared early in Sid and Nancy and earned a Golden Globe nomination for playing Althea Leasure in The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996), later turning up in Man on the Moon (1999). She issued her solo album America's Sweetheart in 2004 and returned with Nobody's Daughter in 2010 under the Hole name. Her writing includes Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love (2006). Love has headlined runs such as the Beautiful Monsters Tour (1999) and the Endless Summer Tour (2015), carrying the raw, fearless stage presence that defined her rise.
