Book Breaking Benjamin
Breaking Benjamin is a hard rock band from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, led by singer, guitarist and principal songwriter Benjamin Burnley since its founding in 1999. Their 2002 debut, Saturate, was followed by We Are Not Alone (2004), which produced "So Cold" and "Sooner or Later," both runners-up on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, and the band contributed "Blow Me Away" to the Halo 2 soundtrack that same year. Phobia (2006), with "The Diary of Jane" and "Breath," and Dear Agony (2009) extended their run at rock radio. After a hiatus due to Burnley's health, he rebuilt the group in 2014 with bassist Aaron Bruch, guitarists Keith Wallen and Jasen Rauch, and drummer Shaun Foist. That lineup's first album, Dark Before Dawn (2015), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and Ember (2018) opened at number three. In 2020 they released Aurora, featuring reworked acoustic versions of fan favorites with guest vocalists plus one new song. Early in their career they toured on the Jägermeister Music Tour.
