Book Borns
Børns is the stage name of Garrett Borns, a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Grand Haven, Michigan, best known for the single "Electric Love." He performed from a young age, played in a high school cover band and led the Garrett Borns Trio before releasing the independent album A Dream Between in 2012. After relocating from New York to Los Angeles in 2013, he co-wrote "10,000 Emerald Pools," which led to a deal with Geffen and Interscope. His Candy EP (2014) reached number two on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, and his debut album, Dopamine (2015), entered the Billboard 200 at number 24, carried by "Electric Love." He opened tours for Charli XCX, Bleachers and Halsey and played Coachella in 2016. His second album, Blue Madonna (2018), included "God Save Our Young Blood," a duet with Lana Del Rey that charted on Billboard's rock songs ranking. He promoted it by headlining the MoneyMan Tour and joining Del Rey as support on her LA to the Moon Tour. In July 2023 he returned with Suddenly, his third EP.
