Book Santigold
Santigold, the singer and songwriter born Santi White, made her name with a fearless mix of dub, new wave and hip-hop that critics embraced from her first record. Atlantic Records released that debut, Santogold, in 2008, and it won wide praise for crossing genre lines; the same year she was named Best Breakthrough Artist at the NME Awards, and ASCAP gave her its Vanguard Award in 2009. Her second album, Master of My Make-Believe (2012), reached number 21 on the Billboard 200 and featured the single "Disparate Youth." She followed with 99¢ in 2016, the mixtape I Don't Want: The Gold Fire Sessions in 2018 and Spirituals in 2022, which The Guardian described as a whirlwind of feeling and fervour. She has worked with Diplo, Mark Ronson, Beastie Boys, David Byrne, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Karen O, Drake, The Lonely Island, ASAP Rocky and Tyler, the Creator. In 2019 she marked a decade of the debut album with the 10 Years Golder Tour.
