Book St. Vincent
St. Vincent is the singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Annie Clark, a six-time Grammy winner whose three Best Alternative Music Album wins tie the record in that category. Raised in Dallas, she studied at Berklee, played in the Polyphonic Spree and toured in Sufjan Stevens's band before launching her solo career with Marry Me (2007). Actor and Strange Mercy followed, and in 2012 she teamed with Talking Heads frontman David Byrne on the joint album Love This Giant. Her self-titled 2014 album was named album of the year by NME, The Guardian, Slant and Entertainment Weekly and won her first Grammy. Working with Jack Antonoff, she made Masseduction (2017), whose title song won Best Rock Song, and Daddy's Home (2021), another Best Alternative Music Album winner. She self-produced All Born Screaming (2024), which swept three Grammys for the album, the song "Broken Man" and the performance "Flea," and recorded a Spanish-language version, Todos Nacen Gritando. Rolling Stone ranked her 26th on its 2023 list of the greatest guitarists. She co-wrote Taylor Swift's Hot 100 chart-topper "Cruel Summer," produced Sleater-Kinney's The Center Won't Hold and co-wrote and starred in the film The Nowhere Inn.
