Book Barenaked Ladies
Barenaked Ladies is a Canadian rock band from Scarborough, Ontario, formed in 1988. It began with Ed Robertson and Steven Page, both singing and playing guitar, and grew into a quintet with Jim Creeggan on bass, Andy Creeggan on percussion and keyboards, and Tyler Stewart on drums. Kevin Hearn replaced Andy Creeggan in 1995, and when Page left in 2009 Robertson, Creeggan, Stewart and Hearn carried on as a quartet. Their chart-topping 1998 single "One Week" made them a household name. The band's honors include Juno Awards for Group of the Year in 1999 and 2001 and for children's album of the year in 2009, a Billboard Music Award in 1998 and several MuchMusic Video Awards for favourite Canadian group. Famous for quick-witted lyrics, tight harmonies and playful, improvised banter, the band puts on an interactive, funny and musically skilled concert.
