Book Two Feet
Two Feet is the project of New York-born singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Bill Dess, whose moody blend of bluesy guitar, minimal beats and smoky vocals made him an alternative breakout of the late 2010s. Before Two Feet, Dess cut his teeth in local jazz and blues groups. His track "Go F#!k Yourself" took off on SoundCloud, earning him a deal with Republic Records and a spot on the Hot Rock Songs chart, and the follow-up "I Feel Like I'm Drowning" went to number one on Billboard's alternative radio chart in 2018. That October he released his debut album, A 20 Something Fuck, which also featured "Hurt People." He has kept a steady creative pace since, with Pink in 2020, Max Maco Is Dead Right? in 2021 and Shape & Form in 2022, alongside EPs including First Steps (2016), Momentum (2017) and Drunken Fits of a Modern Age (2025). Live, Two Feet delivers a hypnotic, guitar-forward set that pairs cinematic atmosphere with stinging blues licks.
