Timmy Trumpet is an Australian DJ, producer, songwriter and trumpeter, known worldwide for playing trumpet live over dance music and bringing jazz elements to the dance floor. He started out as a trumpeter alongside the Stafford Brothers at Australian clubs and festivals, then taught himself to DJ and began playing solo sets. In 2011 he opened for Stevie Wonder at the grand opening of The Star Casino in Sydney, and in 2014 he joined Will Sparks and Joel Fletcher on the Bounce Bus Tour in North America. His breakthrough single "Freaks," with New Zealand rapper Savage, made him an international name. In 2019 he performed in zero gravity, the first trumpeter to do so, in a project with the European Space Agency and BigCityBeats. His albums are Mad World (2020), Oh Fortuna (2023) and REVELATIONS (2026), and in 2025 he sat at number six on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list.
