Book Third Eye Blind
Third Eye Blind is a San Francisco rock band formed in 1993, led by singer and songwriter Stephan Jenkins. After years of lineup changes, Jenkins and guitarist Kevin Cadogan signed with Elektra Records in 1996, and the band released its self-titled debut in 1997 with Arion Salazar on bass and Brad Hargreaves on drums. That album produced "Semi-Charmed Life," "Jumper" and "How's It Going to Be," songs that remain staples of 1990s radio. Blue followed in 1999, then Out of the Vein, Ursa Major, Dopamine, Screamer, Our Bande Apart and Unplugged in 2022. Third Eye Blind's mix of bright guitar hooks and emotionally direct lyrics has kept it a reliable summer-tour and festival attraction, and Jenkins fronts a live show known for energetic singalongs and a deep hit catalog.
