Book Roxette
Roxette is a Swedish pop rock duo from Halmstad formed by Per Gessle and the late Marie Fredriksson, who became one of Sweden's most successful pop exports. Their 1986 debut Pearls of Passion included "Neverending Love," and Look Sharp! carried "The Look," "Listen to Your Heart," "Dangerous" and "Dressed for Success." "It Must Have Been Love" became a global hit after its use in a film, and Joyride, Tourism, Crash! Boom! Bang!, Have a Nice Day, Room Service, Charm School, Travelling and Good Karma completed ten albums. Gessle founded Roxette Recordings, and the duo received the Musikexportpriset in 2001. Fredriksson died in 2019, and from 2024 Roxette continues as a live act with singer Lena Philipsson. The songs remain radio favorites around the world.
