Book Theo Katzman

Theo Katzman is an American singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist best known as a founding member of the funk band Vulfpeck and for a solo career that blends pop, jazz, funk and indie rock. Born in 1986, he played with the instrumental group Toolbox, which became Ella Riot, touring with them from 2007 to 2010, before turning to his own songs. He released the EP Solo Acoustic in 2010 and his first studio album, Romance Without Finance, in 2011, followed by music videos for "Hard For You" and "Brooklyn." His solo catalog continued with Heartbreak Hits (2017), Modern Johnny Sings: Songs in the Age of Vibe (2020) and Be The Wheel (2023). Katzman has opened for Vanessa Carlton, Matisyahu and Vienna Teng, and in 2013 served as musical director and opening act for Darren Criss on his Listen Up tour, also co-writing songs for Criss. He co-wrote and produced Michelle Chamuel's album Face the Fire and runs the independent label Ten Good Songs. Audiences get a virtuosic, witty performer who moves easily between guitar, drums and vocals with a groove-heavy band behind him.
