Book The Stranglers
The Stranglers are an English band that came together in Guildford in 1974 and grew from the punk scene into one of Britain's most distinctive groups. The classic four-piece of Hugh Cornwell, Jean-Jacques Burnel, Dave Greenfield on keys and Jet Black on drums set Burnel's prominent bass and Greenfield's swirling keyboards against sharp, dark songwriting. Debut album Rattus Norvegicus arrived in 1977, and the group's catalog of 19 albums features such enduring songs as "Peaches", "No More Heroes", "Golden Brown", "Strange Little Girl", "Skin Deep" and "Always the Sun". Jet Black retired from the band in 2018, and Greenfield's keyboard work remains on Dark Matters in 2021. With a career spanning five decades, The Stranglers have played festivals across Europe, including LUNAR, and their live show carries the same tension and wit that defined their records.
