Book Grizzly Bear
Grizzly Bear began in 2002 as a Brooklyn rock band. For most of its run, the group has featured Edward Droste on vocals, keyboards and guitar, Daniel Rossen on vocals, guitar, banjo and keyboards, Chris Taylor on bass, backing vocals, woodwinds and production, and Christopher Bear on drums. The band's five studio albums are Horn of Plenty in 2004, Yellow House in 2006, Veckatimest in 2009, Shields in 2012 and Painted Ruins in 2017. Veckatimest brought them wide acclaim, with songs like "Two Weeks" and "While You Wait for the Others" that became indie-rock favorites. Their music is richly arranged, with intricate vocal harmonies and warm, atmospheric textures drawn from folk, psychedelia and chamber pop. Live, the quartet delivers a delicate, immersive show that is beautifully played and carefully balanced.
