Dirty Honey is a Los Angeles hard rock band formed in 2017 and fronted by singer Marc LaBelle, with John Notto on guitar, Justin Smolian on bass and Jaydon Bean on drums. LaBelle and Notto first played together in a covers-and-originals group called Ground Zero before launching their own band, briefly known as The Shags; LaBelle took the Dirty Honey name after hearing Robert Plant mention his group The Honeydrippers. The band made its debut as an official act with a sidewalk show on Sunset Boulevard. Their self-released EP arrived in March 2019, and its single "When I'm Gone" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart, making Dirty Honey the first unsigned band ever to reach the top of that chart. Manager Mark DiDia lined up opening slots for Slash in 2018 and 2019. Their self-titled album followed in 2021 and Can’t Find the Brakes in 2023, with headline runs including the Peel Tour, the Young Guns Tour and the California Dreamin' Tour. On stage they deliver swaggering, riff-heavy rock and roll in the classic tradition.
