Book Amber Run
Amber Run are an English indie rock band from Nottingham, built around the soaring voice of Joshua "Joe" Keogh alongside Tom Sperring and Henry Wyeth. The band took shape when friends met as students at the University of Nottingham, and they soon left their degrees behind to chase music full time. Originally called Amber, they changed their name to avoid confusion with a Dutch dance-pop singer. Their rise was fast: thanks to local BBC presenter Dean Jackson, they played the BBC Introducing stage at Reading Festival in 2013, just their fourth show ever, and the buzz from that set led to a deal with RCA. Three EPs arrived in 2014, Noah, Spark and Pilot, along with a support run on Kodaline's tour that March. Their debut album, 5AM (2015), recorded with producers Mike Crossey and Sam Winfield, introduced their sweeping, emotional sound, followed by For a Moment, I Was Lost (2017), Philophobia (2019) and How to Be Human (2023). Across albums, mini-albums and EPs, Amber Run write big, cathartic songs, and their live shows bring dramatic dynamics and heartfelt, anthemic choruses that audiences love to sing along to.
