Book Colony House
Colony House is an indie rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, built around brothers Caleb Chapman on vocals and Will Chapman on drums, with guitarist Scott Mills and bassist Parke Cottrell. The brothers, sons of Steven Curtis Chapman, started playing together in high school in 2009 under the name Caleb, then renamed the band in 2013 after an apartment complex they had called home. They describe their music as stripped-down rock and roll shaped by U2 and Cold War Kids. After three self-released EPs, their debut album When I Was Younger (2014) reached No. 3 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart, and they made their network TV debut that year on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Only The Lonely (2017), with the singles You Know It, Lonely, You & I and This Beautiful Life, reached No. 76 on the Billboard 200. Leave What's Lost Behind (2020) followed, then The Cannonballers (2023), an anniversary edition of their debut in 2024, and 77 and 77 (Pt. 2) in 2026. They have toured as headliners and opened for Switchfoot. Expect big choruses and driving, heartfelt rock.
