Book Dave Navarro
Dave Navarro is an American guitarist and songwriter best known as the lead guitarist of Jane's Addiction, appearing on all four of the band's studio albums. He joined the group in 1986, played on Jane's Addiction (1987), Nothing's Shocking (1988) and Ritual de lo Habitual (1990), and was part of the run that gave birth to the Lollapalooza festival. After that band's first split, he served as guitarist of Red Hot Chili Peppers from 1993 to 1998, recording One Hot Minute (1995) with them. He has also played in the related projects Deconstruction and the Panic Channel, contributed guitar to the 1999 Guns N' Roses song "Oh My God," and released his own album, Trust No One, in 2001. In 2009 he took part in the NINJA 2009 Tour. Critics have hailed him as an early guitar hero of alternative rock, with a style that blends heavy metal, psychedelia and modern rock. Beyond music, Navarro was a host and judge on the tattoo competition series Ink Master from 2012 until his departure after its 14th season in 2022. He brings a magnetic stage presence and some of the most recognizable riffs in alternative rock.
