Book Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction was a Los Angeles alternative rock band formed in 1985 by singer Perry Farrell, bassist Eric Avery, drummer Stephen Perkins and guitarist Dave Navarro. Nothing's Shocking in 1988 introduced "Jane Says" and "Mountain Song," and Ritual de lo Habitual in 1990 delivered "Been Caught Stealing" and "Stop!" Farrell founded the Lollapalooza festival in 1991 as a farewell tour for the band, and the group reunited several times, releasing Strays and The Great Escape Artist, with tours including Spirits on Fire in 2022. Grammy.com lists five nominations, and the group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013. The band announced in December 2025 that it had broken up and that the members would pursue separate projects. Its records remain landmarks of alternative music.
