Book The Strokes
The Strokes are a New York City rock band that came together in 1998 with singer Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr., bassist Nikolai Fraiture and drummer Fabrizio Moretti, all of whom still make up the group. Their 2001 debut Is This It, with "Last Nite," "Someday" and "Hard to Explain," revived guitar-driven rock and inspired a generation of indie bands. Room on Fire followed in 2003, then First Impressions of Earth, Angles, Comedown Machine, The New Abnormal, which won the Grammy for Best Rock Album, and Reality Awaits in 2026. In 2022 the band joined Red Hot Chili Peppers on a global stadium tour. With tight interlocking guitars and Casablancas's detached croon, The Strokes headline festivals and arenas around the world.
