Book The Hunna
Hailing from Watford in Hertfordshire, The Hunna are an English indie rock four-piece known for big, anthemic guitar songs and high-energy live shows. Formed in 2015, the lineup features singer and guitarist Ryan Potter, lead guitarist Dan Dorney, bassist Jermaine Angin and drummer Jack Metcalfe. The name comes from slang the friends used with each other, and the band says it reflects giving 100 percent to everything they do. Their debut single "Bonfire" arrived in October 2015, followed by "We Could Be" in early 2016, and that summer they played Reading and Leeds and Dot-to-Dot festivals. Their sixteen-track debut album 100 (2016) launched them in the United States, where "You and Me" became an alternative radio favorite and reached the Alternative Songs chart. The band toured with Jimmy Eat World in fall 2016 and have since released Dare (2018), I'd Rather Die Than Let You In (2020) and the self-titled The Hunna (2022), for four studio albums in all. Drawing on influences from Kings of Leon and Foals to The 1975 and Queen, they deliver sing-along choruses, driving riffs and the raw, youthful energy that has built them a devoted fan base.
