Book Taking Back Sunday
Taking Back Sunday is a rock band from Amityville, New York, formed late in 1999 around guitarist Eddie Reyes and bassist Jesse Lacey, with singer Antonio Longo, guitarist John Nolan and drummer Steven DeJoseph rounding out the first lineup. The name nods to a hometown on Long Island. Today the lineup includes vocalist Adam Lazzara. Their eight studio albums are Tell All Your Friends in 2002, Where You Want to Be in 2004, Louder Now in 2006, New Again in 2009, a self-titled Taking Back Sunday in 2011, Happiness Is in 2014, Tidal Wave in 2016 and 152 in 2023. The group became a favorite name in emo and pop-punk, with dual vocal harmonies, emotional lyrics and anthemic, guitar-driven songs. Their live shows are passionate and sing-along-heavy, fueled by decades of fan devotion.
