Book Social Distortion
Social Distortion is a punk rock band from Fullerton, California, formed in 1978 and led by singer and guitarist Mike Ness. Jonny Wickersham plays guitar, Brent Harding plays bass and David Hidalgo Jr. plays drums. The band emerged around 1979 from the hardcore scene in Orange County, next to Agent Orange and The Adolescents. Their eight studio albums include Mommy's Little Monster in 1983, Prison Bound in 1988, the self-titled Social Distortion in 1990, Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell in 1992, White Light White Heat White Trash in 1996, Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll in 2004, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes in 2011 and Born to Kill in 2026. Their sound fuses punk, country, rockabilly and rhythm and blues, and the live shows are loud, sweaty, sing-along affairs.
