Book Kevin O'Leary

Kevin O'Leary, the investor known to TV audiences as Mr. Wonderful, is the Canadian businessman and television personality famous for his blunt, numbers-first approach on Shark Tank. He has been a fixture on the ABC series, the American version of Dragons' Den, since 2009, after appearing from 2004 to 2014 on Canadian programs including the business news show The Lang and O'Leary Exchange and Dragons' Den itself. He also hosted Discovery Channel's Project Earth in 2008. O'Leary made his name in tech as co-founder of SoftKey Software Products, which sold family education and entertainment software and grew into a major consolidator of the educational software market in the late 1980s and 1990s, buying up rivals including Broderbund and Compton's New Media before renaming itself The Learning Company and being acquired by Mattel in 1999. His early career included a brand management internship at Nabisco in Toronto during his MBA studies. In 2025 he stepped into acting, playing Milton Rockwell in Josh Safdie's film Marty Supreme. On stage he brings provocative opinions, hard-won deal-making lessons and the sharp humor that made him a TV favorite.
