Book James Blake

James Blake has won two Grammy Awards from nine nominations, taking Best Rap Performance for "King's Dead" with Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and Future, and Best Rap Song for "SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS." The London singer, songwriter and producer is known for his aching falsetto and minimalist, bass-heavy electronic arrangements. He first broke through with three 2010 EPs, The Bells Sketch, CMYK and Klavierwerke, and his self-titled 2011 debut won wide acclaim. His second album, Overgrown (2013), won the Mercury Prize, and he was nominated for the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2014. He went on to release The Colour in Anything, Assume Form, Friends That Break Your Heart, Playing Robots Into Heaven and Trying Times (2026), as well as the ambient Wind Down and Bad Cameo, a collaboration with Lil Yachty. As a producer and co-writer he worked on Beyoncé's Lemonade and Kendrick Lamar's DAMN., and he has collaborated with Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Bon Iver and Rosalía. He also founded the 1-800 Dinosaur collective and club night. Whether solo at the piano or backed by a band, Blake's concerts are known for their intimacy and deep, room-shaking low end.
